
Executive Director, The Hong Kong Drama / Theatre and Education Forum (TEFO)
Dr Yiman Au holds a PhD in Arts and Creative Education from The University of Melbourne, Australia, and a master’s degree in Applied Theatre from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. Over the past two decades, she has collaborated with various educational institutions, colleges, and groups concerned with different social issues across Asia. Her work has included applied theatre trainers’ training, drama curriculum design, community theatre projects, educational theatre performances, research and development, as well as serving as keynote speakers at conferences and seminars.
Dr Au served as a co-chair of the Committee at the 6th International Drama / Theatre and Education Association (IDEA) World Congress in Hong Kong, and one of the international advisors at the 10th IDEA World Congress held in Beijing in 2024. She was also a member of the Committee for the TEFO Conference 2015 on Drama Education. In 2017-19, Dr Au was an External Assessor for the Professional Diploma in Applied Theatre & Drama Education programme for Hong Kong Art School and appointed as Arts Advisor of Arts Education (2017-19) for Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Her translated works include Beginning Drama 11-14, Cooling Conflict: A new approach to managing bullying and conflict in schools, The Rainbow of Desire: the Boal method of theatre and therapy, and Drama Worlds: A framework for Process Drama. Her recent work Social Capacity Building through Applied Theatre: Developing Imagination, Emotional and Reflective Skills in Human Services was published in 2024.
Dr Au was one of the principal researchers for the 2008 National Office for Education Sciences Planning’s focus topic “Experimental research on Applied Theatre Pedagogy to enhance teacher professional development and student mental health.” In 2009, she received a scholarship from The University of Melbourne to pursue a PhD in Applied Theatre, focusing on adult education, applied theatre training for instructors, community theatre training and capacity building research for Chinese NGOs. Her doctoral thesis, Exploring the Potential of Applied Theatre in Building Capacity for Practitioners in Chinese NGO, earned her the 2018 Distinguished Dissertation Award from the American Alliance for Theatre and Education (AATE), making her the first Chinese recipient of this honour. In 2015, she was appointed as an expert consultant by the School Drama Research Institute and the Applied Theatre and Expressive Arts Education Research Center at Beijing Normal University. In 2018-2024, Dr Au was appointed as a co-opted member of the Art Form Sub-Committee (Community) of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
Dr Au is currently the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Drama / Theatre and Education Forum (TEFO), a three-year grant-funded arts organisation by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. She also serves as a part-time lecturer for the “Applied Theatre for Social Care” course at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a member of the editorial board for the only bilingual academic journal in Asia, The Journal of Drama and Theatre Education in Asia (DaTEAsia). Her research areas include applied theatre creation and aesthetics, drama education curriculum, arts education, adult education, pedagogy and capacity-building for NGO, and the intersection of theatre games and mental health.

Professor Anne Bamford OBE
Director, International Research Agency
An educational futurist and passionate arts educator, Professor Anne Bamford OBE is Director of the International Research Agency and President of the Education Inspiring Peace Laboratory and was the former Strategic Education, Skills and Culture Director for the City of London. Anne has been recognised nationally and internationally for her research in the arts, fusion skills, emerging literacies, and visual communication. She is an expert in the international dimension of education and skills and talent development and through her research, she has pursued issues of creativity, technology, innovation, social impact and equity and diversity.

Professor Anna CY Chan
Director, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Professor Anna CY Chan is a transformative leader with 35 years of unparalleled dedication to advancing the performing arts and arts education. Her distinguished career encompasses academia, arts administration, performance, production, and international collaboration. Renowned for her visionary contributions, she has been honoured with numerous accolades, including multiple Hong Kong Dance Awards (2004, 2019, 2023), the City Contemporary Dance Laureate (2016), the Distinguished Achievement Award (2018), and the Leading Woman in Arts, Sports & Leisure at the 20th AmCham Women of Influence Awards (2024).
As Dean of The School of Dance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (2018–2025), Professor Chan spearheaded innovative undergraduate and postgraduate dance programmes, award-winning community dance projects, aligning them with the evolving demands of the industry. Her global impact was further solidified during her tenure as the inaugural Head of Dance at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (2014–2018), where she shaped the district’s artistic vision, developed world-class cultural infrastructure, and facilitated cross-cultural exchanges programmes and productions. She also co-founded the Asia Network for Dance (AND+), connecting dance communities both regionally and globally.
Professor Chan is a respected figure on international advisory boards and juries, including the American Dance Abroad Advisory Council and the Taishin Arts Award. She currently serves as President of the World Dance Alliance Asia-Pacific and is a council member of China’s Dancers’ Association. In Hong Kong, she has held influential roles including Chairperson of the Hong Kong Dance Alliance, arts advisor to the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, and a co-opted member of the Performing Arts Committee of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority since 2021. Recently, she was appointed Chairwoman of the Tai Kwun Culture and Arts Programme Committee and Director of the Board of Tai Kwun Culture and Arts Company Limited in 2024. Her efforts have consistently enhanced the visibility and accessibility of the arts in Hong Kong, inspiring future generations of artists and audiences.

Ms Mary Chan
Founder, MCCM Creations
Mary Chan (Lai Shan) founded MCCM Creations, an independent Hong Kong publishing house in 2001, mostly specialising in bilingual publications. Aside from the art, design and architecture book genres for adults, MCCM also published a collection of illustrated fiction and picture books for children and young adults with a goal to nurture intellectual and aesthetic development outside of regular school curriculum.
Seeing book publishing as an art form integrating texts, visual art, and graphic design to create tactile and delightful reading experiences. Ms Chan’s publishing philosophy was shaped by her early career at the Fringe Club during the 1980s and advertising agencies in the 1990s, where she developed an innovative vision for books as dynamic creative medium. Beyond publishing, she curated and operated bookstores at Hong Kong Arts Centre, PMQ, and the Hong Kong Museum of Art respectively between 2010 and 2022, further promoting visual storytelling and cultural engagement.
Her contribution to publishing has earned international recognition. In 2008, she was invited by the Frankfurt Book Fair to participate in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, making MCCM one of the first two Chinese publishers to enter the Middle Eastern readership markets. In 2014, Ms Chan and MCCM were honoured by the American Institute of Architects, Hong Kong Chapter in recognition of its commitment to publishing original and inspiring books on art, architecture, design, and the visual culture, and for fostering public awareness of issues related to the built environment.

Ms Grace Cheng
Lead Creative Practitioner, AFTEC Jockey Club Creative Futures Project
Currently working as the Director of Art in Hospital and Community Art Network, vice-chairperson of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, Grace Cheng is also the guest curator of Hong Kong Palace Museum. She believes art could bring infinite possibilities, therefore she has been curating and presenting exhibitions and art projects that embrace a wide range of mediums across many fields and disciplines.
Grace curates projects with the interests of community engagement: Big Happy Heart – Community Art Project (2007) was a project that assembled 1,500 paintings, which were created by patients, rehabilitants, students, artists, and people from all walks of life, into a giant artwork to convey the message: art heals. Charming Experience (2009) was a groundbreaking project that showcased artworks in which the audience could experience art through different senses. Made in Wetland (2010) guided the audience to appreciate the beauty of nature through various art workshops which were in coherence with the environment of Hong Kong Wetland Park. Budding Winter (2010) and ArtAlive@Park (2011) brought arts closer to the community by displaying artworks in parks in Hong Kong and nurtured young artists. She also organised the 11th International Expressive Arts Therapy Association Conference (2015), which drew professionals from different countries to discuss the implementation of art and therapy in improving the quality of life. No Boundaries: Reinterpreting Palace Museum Culture (2022) and Dwelling in Tranquillity – Reinventing Traditional Gardens (2024), Grace curated both exhibitions to offer a Hong Kong perspective and nurtures Hong Kong artists contributing to the study and appreciation of Hong Kong and Chinese art and culture.

Ms Pewan Chow
Artistic Director, Passoverdance
As an independent choreographer and performer, Ms Chow endeavours to contribute to the study, education and creation of dance at Passoverdance.
Her choreographic works include In Search of Motion in a Virtual City: Grey Area, In Search of Space in a Cramped City: A Moving Exhibition – Urban Bottling, Maze, Homecoming, Xin Xiang, Solo Act, Searchlight, and Execute I, II, III – Accomplish. She received the Hong Kong Dance Awards in 2010 and 2013 for Outstanding Achievement in Independent Production for Homecoming and for Outstanding Independent Dance Production for Maze respectively. Ms Chow is also the recipient of the Hong Kong Dance Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Youth and Community Dance for In Search of Space in a Cramped City: A Moving Exhibition – Urban Bottling in 2016, and Outstanding Dance Education for In Search of Motion in a Virtual City: Grey Area in 2018. Ms Chow was awarded Artist of the Year (Dance) by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council in 2017 and awarded Honorary Fellow by The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2022.

Ms Susanna Chung
Head of Learning & Participation and Head of Special Initiatives, Asia Art Archive
Initiated the Learning and Participation Department at Asia Art Archive in 2007, Susanna Chung has worked extensively to raise awareness of learning through contemporary art, and has led the cultural learning strategies, projects and partnerships in Hong Kong and across Asia. Her recent projects include Translations, Expansions at documenta fifteen (2022); the exhibition and programme series The Collective School (2022), and Mobile Library: Nepal (2021 – 2022).
Chung is serving as an Advisory Board Chair of the Music and Performing Arts Unit and an Advisory Board member of the Core Curriculum and General Education of Lingnan University, Hong Kong. In 2016, she was selected as the International Fellow of the Clore Leadership Programme (2016 – 17) in the United Kingdom. Prior to that, she was awarded the Starr Foundation Fellowship (2010 – 11) by the Asian Cultural Council to research audience development and education programmes at various art institutions across the United States.

Mr Irgel Enkhsaikhan
Assemble Studio, London, United Kingdom
Irgel is a Partner at Assemble, with experience working across a variety of projects and scales. His work spans workspace design, masterplanning, and residential and cultural sectors, as well as art commissions. Trained at The London School of Architecture, he is particularly interested in exploring the social impact of architecture in complex urban conditions, with a focus on shaping environments that promote social equity and a resilient built environment.
Previously, Irgel worked at 6a architects and as part of The University of Hong Kong’s Rural Urban Framework urban research team.

Mr Kam Shing Hei
Artistic Director, Composer-in-Residence and Conductor, Hong Kong Gaudeamus Dunhuang Ensemble
Kam graduated with first-class honours from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Composition and Electronic Music. Kam has received his master’s degree in Buddhist Studies at The University of Hong Kong under a scholarship from Tung Lin Kok Yuen. After graduating, he taught at the Liberal Art Department of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
In terms of his professional career path, Kam is dedicated to professional music composition and has collaborated with arts groups including the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Dance Company, etc. His works have been performed at different arts festivals, including the Hong Kong Arts Festival, the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field in Japan, and the Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival. In 2022, Kam became the Artistic Director and Composer-in-Residence of the Hong Kong Gaudeamus Dunhuang Ensemble.

Ms Debbie Lam
Vice-Chairperson, Hong Kong Movie Production Executives Association
Debbie Lam has participated in film production of nearly 50 Chinese and foreign films and TV programmes, production experience covering the five continents. From 2015 to 2017, she joined Media Asia Films as Production Controller, and from 2018 to 2021, she served as Assistant Vice President of ViuTV, responsible for the production of drama programmes. In 2022, she began to return to her role as a freelance producer, and her first work was the TV series Left on Read. Debbie has also been enthusiastic about public service in film industry over the years, she held a number of positions in industry association. She is currently the Vice-Chairman of Hong Kong Movie Production Executives Association, Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers, and Hong Kong Film Awards Association. Since 2021, she has also been invited to serve as a member of the Hong Kong Film Development Council.

Mr Benny Lau
Illustrator
Benny Lau is an award-winning designer with a wide range of accomplishments. Illustrator and picture book author with extensive experience.
Benny has taught at major design academies and universities in Hong Kong, specialising in subjects like Community Design and Design Thinking. In recent years, he has increasingly collaborated with schools and NGOs in early childhood education, exploring picture books both as an artistic language and as a learning medium for communication and creativity.
He is the creator of The Beautiful Pages project, which advocates new learning approaches through visual arts and storytelling for communities and schools. These initiatives have received support from the Hong Kong Design Centre and Arts Development Council. His latest book, Sadhu The Retriever, has been selected for the prestigious BolognaRagazzi Awards Amazing Bookshelf 2025.

Ms Heidi Lee
Executive Director, Hong Kong Ballet
Lee has served as a professional arts administrator for more than 27 years, working for various Hong Kong arts organisations on their management, planning, programming, marketing, fund-raising and branding, including PIP Cultural Industries Ltd., Hong Kong Dance Company, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Hong Kong Fringe Club, among others. In 2010, the Li Ka Shing Foundation appointed her Executive Director of the Cheung Kong School of Art and Design at Shantou University (STU). She became the Associate Dean in 2014 and Director of Arts & Cultural Development of STU Arena in 2018.
Lee is now a Council Member of Hong Kong Arts Development Council (Chairman, Arts Administration), a member of the Advisory Board of the Dance School of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Advisory Panel Member of the Cultural Management Programme of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Advisory Panel Member of the Art Centre of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Co-chair of the Creativity & Arts Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of Hong Kong Dance Alliance and Board Member of Intercultural Dialogue Limited (Presenter of Matteo Ricci Musical).
Lee is the awardee of AmCham Women of Influence – Master of the Arts, 2021 and Asian Cultural Council Fellowship 2012.

Mr Dominic Lee
Freelance Drama Practitioner and Tap Dancer
Dominic is a freelance actor, tap dancer. He graduated with a BA in English in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), has completed the two-year PTI training programme by Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio, and has visited different countries to train tap dance. He was also the recipient of AFTEC’s Bravo! Hong Kong Youth Theatre Awards (2015 – 2016). His previous collaborations with AFTEC include Strategy, Nicholas Nickleby, and The Secret Garden. His other recent works include Hong Kong Disneyland’s The Nightmare Before Dinner, RnT’s Bye Bye Bad Luck, and Actor’s Family’s “香火燎原”.

Ms Suey Lee
Student, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Drama, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Suey Lee Cheuk Ling is a second-year student at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Applied Theatre.
She graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University with a Higher Diploma in Creative Film Production, she has also received the Silver Award for Best New Performer in 2019.
Deeply passionate about drama and applied theatre. With a dedication to exploring the intersection of performance and community engagement, she has participated in notable productions such as 2024-2025 Magic Inclusive Project Pilot Award Scheme, An Inclusive Theatrical Project for Underprivileged Children, collaborated with the Deafs from New Moon Arts Dream on Playback Theatre called Be brave and say thank you.
Additionally, she was involved in a school Theatre in Education production on social media, an Ethnodrama titled So… Am I at the Tat Man Elderly Home? and a school directing workshop for the musical Les Misérables.
In 2024, she was awarded the Catherine S Y Chan Creative Project Fund to create Bullying Everywhere All at Once, an educational theatre production for a school tour in secondary schools in Kowloon, as the curator, project coordinator and stage manager.

Mr Joseph Lin
Founder & Chief Ecosystem Officer, Empower Health and Sports Informatics Association (EHSIA)
Joseph Lin is a seasoned technology leader with over 35 years of experience in IT, digital transformation, and education across Asia Pacific. He is the founder of EHSIA, a non-profit organisation promoting quality IT and AI education for primary and secondary students, as well as minority and underserved groups in Hong Kong.
During his 24-year tenure at Cisco, Joseph led global partnerships with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and service providers to reduce the digital divide in developing countries. As Head of Corporate Affairs in Greater China, he oversaw the Cisco Networking Academy Program, supporting around 500 educational institutions. He also directed the 21st Century Leadership Program in China partnering with Guanghua School of Management of Beijing University, developing leadership programmes for senior government and enterprise leaders.
Earlier in Cisco, Joseph led public sector business development across Asia Pacific and Greater China, driving initiatives in Connected Government, Education and Healthcare, He began at Cisco as Worldwide Technology Manager for the Networking Academy in Asia Pacific.
Before Cisco, Joseph spent 13 years in IT consultancy, delivering network design and implementation for public and private sectors. He also taught networking technologies at vocational and postgraduate levels in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States.
He holds an MA in Management Research Methods from Macquarie University and an MSc in Operational Research from Lancaster University, following studies at Hong Kong Polytechnic. His contribution to STEM education was recognised by Hong Kong Polytechnic University and awarded Outstanding Alumni in Community Service in 2022 and 2023.

Ms Joanne Liu
All Things Bright and Beautiful
Illustrator and Picture Book Creator
Many of Joanne’s books are colourful and wordless. She received a special mention from the 2018 BolognaRagazzi Awards for her book My Museum. She was also a Bologna Children’s Book Fair winning illustrator in 2022 and 2025. Other books include: My City, My Rainy Day and Can We Say?

Ms Ma Lu
Student, Master of Fine Arts in Dance, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Ma Lu graduated from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in 2013, specialising in Dance Performance with a focus on Chinese dance. With 16 years of teaching experience, she is dedicated to dance and arts education for primary and secondary school students, as well as the elderly. Ma Lu champions a student-centred approach to dance education and has received accolades such as the Excellent Dance Instructor Award and the Judge Teacher Ku from the Education Bureau for her outstanding contributions.
Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Dance Education at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Her research explores the integration of somatics into dance education to enhance body awareness and artistic expression. By doing so, Ma Lu aims to provide all dance learners with a dynamic and enriching educational experience.

Mr Louis Schulz
Assemble Studio, London, United Kingdom
Louis is a founding Partner at Assemble, where his work has focused on the social side of architecture. Louis has worked with both local authorities and philanthropists to set up community-led educational organisations both in the United Kingdom and in the United States empowering people to make change in their environment.
Louis is also a dedicated builder and craftsman, heading Assemble’s fabrication arm. His work embodies the belief that good design emerges from a deep understanding of craft. He has an interest in industrial space in the city, often working to make robust spaces for people working in the noisier, messier industries which are so often pushed out of the city.
Louis has lectured and exhibited his work across the world, but is firmly rooted in London, where he does the vast majority of his work, in the belief that deep understanding of place is key to good work.

Dr Ria Sinha
Lecturer, Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit (MEHU), School of Clinical Medicine, The University of Hong Kong
Dr Ria Sinha is a Lecturer in the Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit (MEHU) at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) where she coordinates History of Medicine teaching and learning. She trained in biology and parasitology at King’s College London and gained a PhD from Imperial College London. Her research and teaching at HKU have broadened into interdisciplinary research that considers the complex and dynamic sociocultural, ecological, historical, technological, and medico-scientific determinants of infectious disease emergence and management. A lifelong interest in art has been a driver for bringing visual media into medical education. She is also completing a book on the history of malaria in Hong Kong.

Mr Keith Tam
Vice-Principal & Deputy Academic Director, Hong Kong Design Institute
Keith Tam is an information designer, typographer, and educator. He is currently Vice-Principal and Deputy Academic Director at the Hong Kong Design Institute. He holds an honorary appointment as Distinguished Research Fellow at the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University.
A seasoned designer, teacher, and academic leader, Keith has over 20 years of experience in higher education. He has held academic and management positions at University of Reading (United Kingdom), Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Emily Carr University of Art + Design (Canada). Prior to his current role, he was founding Head of Communication Design and founding Director of the Centre for Communication Design at the Hong Kong Design Institute.
Keith’s research and practice focus on typography and information design, particularly in complex documents, multilingual typography, wayfinding and user interface design. As a designer, Keith has received accolades including a Red Dot Design Award, three Design for Asia merit awards, a bronze award at the China Print Awards and Hong Kong Design Association’s Best Design Educator Award. He is also a frequent speaker at local, national and international conferences, and provides consultancy services to corporate clients such as Microsoft, HSBC, Beijing Founder Type and Oxford University Press. He is Vice-Chairman of the Institute of Print-media Professionals, board member of the Hong Kong Open Printshop, member of the Design Trust Greater Bay Area Advisory Council and member of the CreateSmart Initiative Vetting Committee at the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency of the Hong Kong SAR government.

Professor William Tam
Architect; Founder, ARVA
Professor Tam is an Architect by profession, practitioner for over 35 years. He received training and qualifications in England and obtained his architectural education at The University of Sheffield. He has been working in the private sector as architect and quasi-government agency (LDDC) as Urban Designer for development control and urban design framework. Professor Tam’s projects are in Mainland China, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Japan and Singapore. He set up ARVA in 2015 with Stephen Chan after he left Rocco Design Architects, at which he worked for over 20 years. For the last 10 years, he has been teaching at The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Zhejiang University, focusing on building technology, professional practice and urbanism. He is an Associate Professor of Practice at The University of Hong Kong since 2019.
Notable projects for the past 30 years include Limehouse Link in London (1990 – 1993), Hong Kong Station and IFC urban complex (1993 – 2005), Guangdong Museum in Guangzhou (2004 – 2010), HKSAR Government Headquarters at Tamar (2007 – 2011), Yunnan Museum in Kunming (2008 – 2015), West Kowloon Cultural District Conceptual Plan (2009 – 2010), East Kowloon Cultural Complex (2009 – 2024), Chinese Medicine Hospital (2020 – 2025) and Civil Services College (2022 – 2027) in Hong Kong.
Most recent awards include the Hilltop restaurant at Bjornrick SYD, Sweden (HKIA Future Project award 2024), the Sky Court at Jiaxing, China (HKIA Commercial Building shortlisted 2024), Expansion of Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Museum of History (Merit Award, 2021), and the Infinity Library at Chengdu, China (IDA Design Award, 2019).

Ms May Tan
Director (Education & Development), National Arts Council, Singapore
May Tan has 20 years of public sector experience primarily in strategic planning and sector development. May has led in shaping the development of the arts and cultural sector in various capabilities. Currently, as the Director of Education and Development at the National Arts Council (NAC), her role combines her experience in planning, research and programme development with her belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the arts and / or realise their aspirations in the arts. Together with the Education and Capability Development team at NAC, May works closely with Ministry of Education on both pre-tertiary and tertiary arts education programmes as well as in close consultation with the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Institutes of Higher Learning on manpower development programmes.
During her time at NAC and Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA), May has had the privilege of working on strategic projects with socio-economic impact such as the setting up of the first specialised arts school in Singapore (SOTA) as well as the Renaissance City Plan.
May was awarded the MICA Family Scholarship in 2012 and graduated with Master of Science in Development Management from the London School of Economics (United Kingdom) and was conferred the Bachelor of Science in Economics from the National University of Singapore. She currently serves as a Board Director on Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, School of the Arts (Singapore) and Defence Collective Singapore.

Dr Jack Tsao
Associate Director, Common Core Office, The University of Hong Kong
Dr Jack Tsao is the Associate Director and Senior Lecturer at the Common Core, the undergraduate inter- and transdisciplinary curriculum at The University of Hong Kong. As a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Advance, Jack is passionate about experimenting with new approaches in teaching and learning, such as social impact, experiential learning, and project-based initiatives around gaming, visual and literary arts, community partnerships, and futuring and other creative methodologies. He has won various educational awards and is an external advisor for different committees and institutions.
Jack holds a PhD in Education and a Masters of Applied Finance from the University of Queensland. His research is focused on Educational Futures, exploring youth aspirations, the sociology of education, comparative and international education, transdisciplinary learning and future competencies, and digital technologies, including artificial intelligence. He has published in leading educational and sociological journals. In addition to his academic career, Jack has held numerous leadership roles in organisational learning and development, commercial banking, and entrepreneurship.

Ms Lynn Yau
Chief Executive Officer, The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection (AFTEC);
Project Director, AFTEC Jockey Club Creative Futures Project
In the past two decades, Lynn’s keen interest in the inter-connection and correlation between the arts and education has driven her to build an AFTEC “action research” portfolio on the merging and interaction of the two fields, testing findings and strategies in diverse settings. She is focused on tapping into the innate powers of the arts to open windows for creative teaching and learning opportunities in disciplines other than the arts, from language to social work and the medical humanities.
Lynn is a Hong Kong Scholar to the Clore Leadership Programme 2010 – 11, and was commended by the Chief Executive in 2022 for her outstanding contribution to arts education. She is keen on research and presented papers in Hong Kong, Penang, Brisbane and London. She is the co-author, alongside Professor Robin Pascoe, for a chapter in The Palgrave Handbook of Global Arts Education in 2017.
She is passionate about training the trainers and working with young people.

Ms Winnie Yip
Head of Charities (Culture, Sports and Community Engagement), The Hong Kong Jockey Club
Winnie Yip joined The Hong Kong Jockey Club since 2013. She oversees and manages funding allocation for culture and sports programmes, proactively identifying and initiating projects that anticipate future community and social needs for building an inclusive, creative and vibrant society. Key projects overseen by Ms Yip include the Hong Kong Palace Museum and Tai Kwun – Centre for Heritage and Arts. She also drives and leads Charities’ community engagement initiatives.
Prior to joining the Club, she was the Director of Arts Promotion and Corporate Affairs of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Hong Kong.

Mr Louis Yu, MH
Honorary Fellow, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Served as the Director of the Hong Kong Art School, Executive Director, Performing Arts of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and Executive Director of the Hong Kong Arts Centre, Yu has recently focused on teaching and research on urban culture. He is a Honorary Fellow of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Adjunct Professor of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and Adjunct Associate Professor in The Department of Culture and Religious Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has published two books: How to Culture a City and Towards a Cultural City.
